Organisations and communities
- Christian Universalist Association. An affiliation of congregations, ministers and individuals founded in 2007, with a statement of faith, ordination and chaplaincy programmes, and news.
- Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship. The Christian fellowship within the Unitarian Universalist Association, formed in 1945: sermons, podcasts and resources for small groups and family worship.
- Universalist Christian Initiative. Rev. Scott Wells’s project to identify and create Universalist Christian resources; his own writing continues at revscottwells.com.
- Universalist National Memorial Church, Washington, DC. A liberal Christian church in the Universalist tradition. Its About pages carry a timeline from 1827 and the congregation’s 2008 Declaration of Faith.
- First Universalist Church in Providence, Rhode Island. A Universalist Christian congregation gathered in 1821 under John Murray’s influence, worshipping in its 1872 church on Washington Street with a traditional Order for Morning Prayer each Sunday.
- Community Universalist Church. An online Christian Universalist congregation affiliated with the Christian Universalist Association, with worship, sermons and teaching on the love of God and the final triumph of grace.
- Universalist Convocation. Since 1990, the annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists who keep the Universalist heritage, held on the third weekend in May, with monthly vespers online between meetings.
Online Universalist services
- Community Universalist Church on YouTube. The online congregation’s ocassional worship, streamed live with past services available as well.
- Universalist National Memorial Church on YouTube. Sunday worship from Washington, DC, streamed at 11:00 am Eastern since July 2026, with past services kept on the channel; details on the church’s Sunday services page.
- Universalist Convocation vespers. An evening vesper service on Zoom on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:00 pm Eastern; ask for the Zoom link on the Convocation’s site.
Periodicals and scholarship
- The Universalist Herald. Founded in 1847 as the Religious Reformer, the oldest continuously published liberal religious periodical in North America, with articles from its archive.
- Unitarian Universalist Studies Network. Publishes the Journal of Unitarian Universalist Studies and holds an annual convocation.
- Dictionary of Unitarian and Universalist Biography. Hundreds of biographies, with a Universalists section, edited by Rev. Connie Simon for the Studies Network.
- Harvard Square Library. Biographies, histories and documents of Unitarianism and Universalism.
- Keith DeRose, “Universalism and the Bible”. A Yale philosopher’s much‑read essay on the scriptural case for the salvation of all.
- Eclectic Orthodoxy. Fr Aidan Kimel’s blog on Orthodox theology and the hope of universal salvation, posting most weeks.
- Theological Scribbles. Robin Parry, author of The Evangelical Universalist. The blog stopped in 2020 but the archive stands.
Archives and texts
- Harvard Divinity School Library, Unitarian Universalist collections. The library of record for the tradition. It holds the library of the Universalist Historical Society, received from Tufts in 1975, and the records of the Universalist Church of America.
- Meadville Lombard, digitised UU sources. A guide to the databases where Unitarian and Universalist periodicals, papers and photographs have been digitised.
- Internet Archive. Where the scans in LibHUT live, alongside many more Universalist books not yet catalogued there.
- HathiTrust. Full‑text search across millions of digitised library books, including much of the Universalist press of the nineteenth century.
